In addition, The Meadows Country Club offers a public-friendly course set amidst exquisitely landscaped walking trails. 

If you’re looking for a picturesque golf course with added prestige, The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club tops the list. The 18-hole par-72 course designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio is open to members and guests. University Park Country Club, TPC Prestancia and Palm Aire Country Club also offer incredible options.

Water Sports Galore 

Water sports are one of the best parts of Sarasota’s sports scene. If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at deep sea fishing, parasailing or jet skiing, Sarasota is the place for you.

Nathan Benderson Park

Conveniently located near UTC mall, Nathan Benderson Park is one of the top rowing facilities in the United States. And that’s not all. The 600-acre park is a favorite amongst runners, walkers and bikers. One loop around the park is approximately 3.5 miles. 

Sailing

There’s nothing more beautiful than sailing in Sarasota Bay while dolphins playfully splash nearby. Sarasota Sailing Squadron is a favorite amongst locals. The organization offers lessons, races and fun-filled parties. In addition, Sarasota Youth Sailing offers training and coaching for younger sailing enthusiasts.

Baltimore Orioles Spring Training

The Baltimore Orioles spring training season is a baseball lover’s dream come true. The Orioles train at Ed Smith Stadium. A part of the Grapefruit League, the Orioles play the Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros, and other teams as a part of spring training.
