If you’re searching for the best wine in Sarasota, look no further—this festival is a must-attend event for wine lovers and those looking to explore new flavors. Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 22, from 5 pm to 10 pm at Selby Five Points Park, where local businesses, foodies and festivalgoers will gather for a night to remember.

Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs

This year, the festival isn’t just about wine in Sarasota—it’s about supporting women-owned businesses. In partnership with the Women’s Resource Center, the Sarasota Wine Festival will showcase local female entrepreneurs, offering them a platform to share their businesses with the community.

“We’re raising a glass to women entrepreneurs,” says Cathy Kwon, co-founder of the Sarasota Wine Festival. “Sarasota features an abundance of women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs. It is our goal to help spotlight their achievements.”

A Festival Built for the Community

When Cathy and Bill Kwon founded the Sarasota Wine Festival, they envisioned a community-driven experience that welcomes both wine connoisseurs and the wine curious. The festival is part of a growing movement to establish downtown Sarasota festivals that celebrate local culture, food and small businesses.

“We wanted to create more than just an event—we wanted to build a festival that brings people together, celebrates local culture and fosters a true sense of community,” says Bill Kwon. “The Sarasota Wine Festival is all about connection, experience and supporting the amazing businesses that make our area so special.”

Whether you’re a wine expert or new to the scene, this event has something for everyone.

“Maybe you’re interested in global wines or something a little closer to home,” says Cathy Kwon. “You can find it here.”
