That’s right. There’s something magical about that little city that starts with an “S” that I never can quite describe in one sentence. I mean really, how could you choose just one magical thing about SRQ when there are hundreds?

But I can use what I was trained to do (yeah, I was a journalist back in the day) to tell my story. Here’s the thing: “Sarasota and Me” isn’t just about my adventures. It’s about your unique adventures, too.

We’re part magazine, part blog, and all you. Every week, we’ll be sharing all of your stories — whether you’re a 20-something checking out Sarasota for a vacay, a young family who has moved here to try something new or a snowbird who calls Sarasota home half of the year. These are YOUR STORIES, and they’re special. Each and every one of them.

We’re dedicated to bringing you everything you need to know about SRQ, and to sharing the stories of all of the entrepreneurs and businesses in the Sarasota area. You’re special, and you deserve to shine. 

We’re NOT an advertorial. We’re old-school. We’re doing things the way they used to be. We never charge for articles. Yes, we will sell ads and social media coverage to fund our endeavors. But never for our magazine.
